The WMF water filter system offers you professional water analysis, optimal filter selection, 5-fold water filtration, efficient limescale protection and bypass water filtration.

The WMF water filter system refines your water in several stages, cleaning and enriching it if necessary. Because only the highest quality water allows the aroma of the coffee to fully develop. But WMF water filters not only optimise the taste of the coffee, they also protect your coffee machine. This comprehensive filtration solution begins with analysis of your water quality and identification of the ideal filter by a trained service technician. Once installed, the system provides 5-fold filtration, effective limescale protection and filtration of bypass water, not forgetting a full maintenance and filter replacement service.

When buying your WMF coffee machine, we advise you on the most suitable WMF water filter set based on your water consumption and coffee machine model. A set comprises the WMF AquaHead filter head, the connection set and the WMF filter cartridge. The water filter is optimally adjusted by our technicians on-site. If you are already using a WMF coffee machine, you can also retrofit the new WMF water filter sets without any problems.

WMF replacement filter cartridges
When the new WMF water filter set is installed, only the WMF filter cartridge has to be replaced when the filter capacity has been reached. The following water filters are available for optimal water quality:
WMF Aqua Basic Filter Cartridges
These filter cartridges reduce the total carbonate hardness of your drinking water, stabilising its pH value. They protect your coffee and espresso machines against harmful lime deposits, improve the aroma of beverages by removing unwanted odours and flavours such as chlorine, and filter particles out of the water.
WMF Aqua Protect Filter Cartridges
Recommended for use in areas where the water has a high gypsum content, these filters resalt the water, reducing its calcium and magnesium content and protecting your coffee machines against harmful deposits. They reduce the risk of corrosion and improve the aroma of beverages by removing unwanted odours and flavours.
WMF Excellence Filter Cartridges
These cartridges reduce the total hardness of drinking water, stabilise its pH value and provide additional mineralisation, adding magnesium as a flavour carrier. Besides protecting your coffee machines from harmful limescale deposits, they improve beverage aroma by removing unwanted odours and flavours and filtering particles.
