The spout automatically adjusts to the optimal height for each beverage selected, depending on the preset value for each recipe. So beverage temperature remains perfect, and unsightly splashes of milk on the housing are a thing of the past. This feature is optional and only available if Dynamic Milk system is installed.

The Cup Sensor recognises the cup placed on the drip tray. In one mode, the selected beverage will only be served if the sensor detects a cup is in place – very handy in self-service venues. In a second mode, the machine detects the cup and then automatically adjusts the spout to the correct distance from the top of it – ideal for venues where the same beverage is dispensed into many different-sized cups, like offices. In the third mode, the sensor recognises the height of the cup being used and consequently the display menu only shows beverages corresponding to that size of cup. In this mode, the spout moves automatically to the preset height for each recipe, saving time and effort.

Featuring advanced WMF technology, the SteamJet warms every cup in a few seconds using the natural power of steam. So every beverage is not only served at the ideal temperature but also remains hot for longer, for true coffee perfection.

The self-closing WMF Cup Guard is a splash-proof door which protects users against the risk of burning or scalding. That makes it especially useful in self-service venues. It is automatically locked by an electromagnet while a drink is being dispensed, and cannot be reopened until the beverage is ready. For additional protection, cyclical rinsing or starting the cleaning process is only possible when the WMF Cup Guard is closed.

It works by freshly brewing an individual cup of hot coffee then rapidly cooling it, providing a quick and smart way to prepare delicious iced coffee and other distinctive drinks. The result? Less melted ice cubes or ice cream, for a better looking, better tasting cooled beverage.

First, hot coffee is prepared in the brewing unit. Then, before it reaches the spout, it flows through a counterflow heat exchanger. At the same time, the cold fresh water for the next cup flows to the boiler in the opposite direction. As they pass each other, the coffee becomes cooler while the water gets warmer. So the water requires less heating in the boiler and the coffee emerges already cooled, with no additional refrigeration needed. This also saves energy.

The Syrup Station can add up to four types of syrups, fruit purées or spirits available in three different dispensing quantities to the coffee recipes of a connected coffee machine. Thanks to direct connection, the coffee mix specialities created using this feature can be stored as standard drinks on the coffee machine display in just a few simple steps. To use the syrup station, the coffee machine has to be prepared.

Dynamic Coffee Assist permanently guarantees the highest quality of all espresso-based coffee specialities. Once beverage quality has been set, this unprecedented system continuously monitors the brewing flow, making automatic adjustments to the grinding degree or to the coffee quantity as necessary. This way, brewing time, extraction and value remain constant, so you know your customers will enjoy consistently excellent coffee.

Innovative Dynamic Milk Assist technology ensures the constant high quality of all milk drinks. Using state-of-theart sensors, it continuously monitors the temperature in the cooler and the milk flow in the machine. Based on these values, it regulates factors like the pump speed to create perfect milk foam of the pre-selected consistency. In addition, Dynamic Milk Assist can also detect when the milk level is empty, even in bag-in-box systems.
